Yolk Recommends: A Members' Guide to the Best of the Neighbourhood
One of the quieter perks of being a Yolk member is Recommends, a members-only guide to the best places, people and tools around Yolk, built from the community’s own recommendations rather than a generic listings page. It lives in the member app, and it turns “where’s good for lunch near here?” or “who do I trust for this?” into a two-second answer. Here’s what’s inside.
Places, a live map of the neighbourhood
The Places tab is a live map centred on Yolk at ul. Sarego 5, with pins for the restaurants, bars, cafés and shops the community actually rates. Pins are colour-coded by type and show how many minutes’ walk they are from the front door, so you can find a good coffee before a meeting or somewhere for a team lunch without trawling reviews. Tap a pin and it pulls up the spot; it’s local knowledge from people who work here every day, not an algorithm.

The Professionals tab is a short list of trusted people our members actually use, the kind of professional you’d rather have vouched for than found through a search. If you need someone reliable to get something done, it’s a warm recommendation from the community instead of a cold start.
Codes, software deals
The Codes tab collects software deals and discounts you can redeem with a code, practical tools for running a business or working better, in one place.
Why it works this way
Recommends is deliberately curated and community-led. Yolk has been part of central Kraków since 2020, and a lot of the value of a coworking community is the informal knowledge that usually only comes from asking the person at the next desk. Recommends captures that in one place, the good lunch spot, the accountant who replies, the tool worth paying for, so newcomers get the benefit of it from day one.
How to see it
Recommends is part of Yolk membership, in the member app. If you’re not a member yet, it comes with any coworking membership, alongside 24/7 access, the ClubHouse, meeting-room credit and the wider community and events. It’s a small feature, but it’s the kind of thing that makes a coworking space feel like it’s actually looking out for you.
